Setup: Getting Started with Your F50 Elite
Upon receiving your adidas F50 Elite Laceless FG boots, you'll find two sets of sockliners: an SL (speed) version and a Comfort version. Choose the SL sockliner for a lighter, closer-to-the-ground feel optimized for pure speed, or opt for the Comfort sockliner if you prefer additional cushioning and impact absorption. Simply insert your preferred sockliner before your first use. Ensure the boots fit snugly but comfortably around your foot, as the laceless design relies on this precise fit.
Compatibility: Ideal Playing Surfaces
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This includes natural grass fields that are relatively dry and firm. Using them on artificial turf (AG), soft ground (SG), or extremely hard surfaces is not recommended as it can reduce performance, accelerate wear, and potentially lead to injury.
Care: Maintaining Your Boots
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your F50 Elite boots:
- Cleaning After Each Use: After every game or training session, wipe off any dirt, mud, or debris from the Fibertouch upper and Sprintframe 360 soleplate using a damp cloth. This prevents build-up that can degrade materials and affect grip.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use harsh detergents, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the synthetic materials and coatings.
- Air Dry: Always allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight, radiators, or tumble dryers, as excessive heat can cause materials to crack, shrink, or lose their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag to protect them from dust and scratches. Avoid prolonged storage in extreme temperatures.
- Sockliner Care: Periodically remove and air out the sockliners to prevent odors and maintain freshness.
