FAQs
Are these shoes water-resistant?

Can I replace the insock?
Yes, the Ortholite insock can be removed if you need to air them out or replace them with custom orthotics.
What is the best way to lace them?
The shoes feature a standard lacing system. Ensure they are snug but not overly tight to maintain proper circulation.
Are they true to size?
Yes, the Klapton Lacer generally fits true to UK sizing standards for standard width feet.
Can these be worn in professional settings?
Yes, their clean, low-profile design makes them an appropriate choice for business-casual work environments.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too tight initially
The leather will naturally soften and stretch to fit your foot shape after a few days of consistent wear.
Visible scuffs on the leather
Use a leather cream or wax that matches the black finish to buff out minor surface scuffs.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Klapton Lacer shoes remain in top condition, follow these care steps:
- Cleaning: Wipe the leather surface regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris.
- Stain Removal: Use a damp cloth with a mild soap solution for tougher dirt, then allow the leather to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources.
- Leather Care: Apply a high-quality leather conditioner periodically to prevent cracking and maintain the material's suppleness.
- Storage: Keep your shoes in a cool, dry place and use shoe trees if possible to help them retain their shape when not in use.
