Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your boots last, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Breaking In: Wear the boots for short durations at home with thick socks to soften the leather before extended outdoor use.
- Cleaning: Remove loose dirt with a soft brush and clean the leather upper using a damp cloth. Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources.
- Conditioning: Use a quality leather balm periodically to maintain the suppleness of the patchwork leather and prevent cracking.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place and use shoe trees if possible to maintain the boot's shape when not in use.
