Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Unroll the carpet runner and allow it to lay flat for at least 24 hours to help it settle. If there are persistent creases, place heavy books or furniture on the affected areas. Ensure the floor beneath is clean and dry before laying the runner. For added security, consider using an anti-slip rug pad, especially on smooth flooring.
Compatibility: This runner is designed for indoor use, specifically in hallways, entryways, or other high-traffic areas. It is compatible with most standard flooring types, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet, though an anti-slip pad is recommended for hard surfaces.
Care: For daily maintenance, vacuum the runner regularly without a beater bar to prevent damage to the pile. For spills, blot the affected area immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For tougher stains, use a solution of mild detergent and water, blotting gently. As the product is bleach cleanable, small, localized stains can be treated with a diluted bleach solution, followed by rinsing and thorough drying. Always test cleaning solutions in an inconspicuous area first. Avoid excessive moisture and ensure the runner dries completely to prevent mold or mildew.
