FAQs

Are these boots suitable for firm ground pitches?

No, these boots are specifically designed for soft ground (SG) pitches. Using them on firm ground can lead to premature wear and reduced performance.

How do I clean the Nanostrike upper?

Wipe the upper gently with a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush, then rinse with a clean damp cloth. Always air dry.

What is the benefit of the fold-over tongue?

The fold-over tongue, secured by a strap, creates a larger, cleaner surface area for striking the ball. This is designed to improve accuracy and provide a more consistent contact when shooting.

Can I replace the studs on these boots?

Yes, these boots come with removable studs and a stud wrench. You can replace or adjust the studs to suit pitch conditions or replace worn-out studs.

How long does the break-in period typically last?

The break-in period can vary per individual, but it usually takes a few training sessions or one to two matches for the boots to mold to your feet and become fully comfortable.

Are these boots available in other colors?

The Adidas Predator League series is often released in multiple colorways throughout its lifecycle. Please check the product listings for available options.

What is the main advantage of the Powerspine technology?

Powerspine technology provides midfoot stability, which helps to reduce energy loss and deformation of the foot when striking the ball, ultimately leading to more powerful and controlled shots.

Troubleshooting

Boots feel tight or uncomfortable

This is common during the initial break-in period. Wear the boots around the house for short periods, gradually increasing the duration. Ensure laces are adjusted correctly and the tongue is positioned comfortably.

Poor traction on the pitch

Verify that the correct studs for soft ground are installed and properly tightened. Ensure the studs and soleplate are free from mud or debris. If the pitch conditions are not soft, consider alternative boots.

Laces keep coming undone

Ensure laces are tied securely with a double knot if necessary. Consider replacing the laces with a different material if they are too smooth.

Studs feel loose or wobbly

Use the provided stud wrench to tighten the studs securely into the soleplate. If a stud is damaged or cannot be tightened, it may need to be replaced.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions

Setup:

Unpack the boots and remove any packaging.
If desired, customize the studs by removing or replacing them using the provided stud wrench. Ensure studs are tightened securely.
Lace up the boots, utilizing the regular fit and lace closure for a snug feel. Adjust the fold-over tongue for comfort and a clean striking area.

Compatibility:

These boots are specifically designed for soft ground (SG) football pitches, which are typically wet and muddy.
They are compatible with standard SG screw-in studs.

Care:

Cleaning: After each use, clean the boots with a damp cloth to remove dirt and mud. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can damage the materials.
Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place, preferably in a boot bag, to maintain their shape and protect them from damage.
Stud Maintenance: Regularly check studs for wear and tear and replace them as needed. Clean mud from the stud housing.
