Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your boots, begin by using a wooden shoe tree immediately after taking them off; this maintains the shape and wicks away moisture from the leather interior. For the exterior horse leather, use a high-quality leather conditioner periodically to prevent drying. Avoid exposing the leather soles to prolonged standing water, as natural leather will absorb moisture and wear down faster. If the boots become wet, air dry them naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the leather to crack.
