Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires standard woodworking tools, including a drill with bits appropriate for the mounting screws and a chisel to recess the hinge leaves into the wood frame if a flush finish is desired. Ensure the hinge is centered on the stile before marking your pilot holes to prevent the screw from splitting the timber.
Compatibility: This model is best paired with lightweight wooden materials. It is not compatible with heavy-duty metal or thick, solid-core doors.
Care Instructions: To maintain the gold finish, wipe the surface periodically with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scouring pads, as these can strip the brass plating and lead to tarnishing. If the hinge begins to squeak over time, a single drop of silicone-based lubricant applied to the pin will restore smooth performance.
