FAQs

Are these shoes suitable for running?

While based on a running silhouette, the ZX 8000 is primarily designed as a lifestyle trainer for everyday use.

How should I clean the suede?

Use a dry suede brush to remove dirt. Do not machine wash or soak the shoes in water.

Does the shoe provide arch support?

Yes, the integrated Torsion System offers significant midfoot stability and arch support.

What is the primary material used?

The upper is constructed using high-quality suede overlays and breathable underlays.

Can I replace the insoles?

The factory insoles are generally removable if you need to insert your own custom orthotics.

Troubleshooting

Visible dirt on suede

Use a specialized suede eraser or a soft-bristled suede brush to gently lift and remove surface stains.

BOOST midsole looks dirty

Use a soft cloth dipped in warm soapy water to wipe the midsole, then pat dry immediately.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

These trainers are true to size for most users; if you are between sizes, consider trying both to ensure the best fit for your foot width. To maintain the appearance of your adidas ZX 8000s, it is recommended to use a suede-specific brush to remove loose dirt after each wear. Avoid exposing the suede to heavy rain or mud, as this can stain the material permanently. If the trainers get wet, let them air dry away from direct heat sources to prevent the suede from becoming brittle or the glue from losing adhesion. For deeper cleaning, use a dedicated suede cleaner and a soft-bristled brush, testing it on a small, inconspicuous area first.
