Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before You Begin:
- Preparation: Ensure the shed or fence surface is clean, dry, and free from loose dirt, flaking paint, or mold. For best results, use a stiff brush to remove any debris.
- Stirring: Thoroughly stir the product before and during use to ensure the color is consistent.
Application:
- Method: Ronseal One Coat Shed & Fence Protection can be applied using either a brush or a sprayer.
- Brush Application: Apply evenly along the grain of the wood. Ensure complete coverage, especially in crevices.
- Sprayer Application: Follow the sprayer manufacturer's instructions for dilution (if any) and application technique. Hold the sprayer at a consistent distance for an even coat.
- Coat: Apply one generous coat for complete coverage and protection. Avoid over-application as this can lead to runs or uneven drying.
Compatibility:
- This product is specifically formulated and compatible only with sheds and fences. It is not intended for use on decking, garden furniture, or other types of wood where foot traffic or direct contact is frequent.
After Application & Care:
- Drying Time: The product is quick drying. Avoid touching the surface once applied.
- Showerproof: It becomes showerproof in 1 hour. Ensure no rain is expected within this period after application.

- Storage: Store in a frost-free environment away from direct sunlight.
