FAQs

What material is the Richmond Duvet Cover Set made from?

The set is made from a blend of percale 180TC cotton and polyester, offering a soft touch, durability, and breathability.

What are the dimensions of the duvet cover and pillowcases?

The duvet cover measures 220cm x 230cm, and the pillowcases measure 50cm x 75cm.

Does the set come with a bedspread or cushions?

No, this set includes one duvet cover and two pillowcases. Matching bedspreads and cushions are available for separate purchase.

How should I wash this duvet cover set?

It is machine washable at a moderate temperature. Wash with similar colours, avoid bleach, and tumble dry on low heat. Iron on a medium setting if needed.

What type of closure does the duvet cover have?

The duvet cover features a popper or button closing mechanism.

Is this duvet cover set suitable for sensitive skin?

The polycotton blend is generally comfortable for most users. For highly sensitive skin, it's always recommended to wash bedding before first use.

Can I buy extra pillowcases separately?

Yes, extra pillowcases are available for separate purchase to complement the duvet cover set.

Troubleshooting

Duvet cover difficult to close

Ensure the duvet is evenly distributed within the cover and check that the poppers/buttons are aligned correctly before fastening.

Fabric feels stiff after washing

Ensure you have followed the recommended washing temperature and detergent. Fabric softener can be used sparingly. Ironing on a medium heat may restore softness.

Pillowcase does not fit pillow

Confirm you are using a standard size pillow (50x75cm). If the pillow is larger, a separate larger pillowcase may be required.

Color fading after washing

Wash inside out and use a mild detergent. Avoid washing with harsh chemicals or at excessively high temperatures.
