Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Upon first use, follow the on-screen prompts to set up your iPhone 15. This includes selecting your language, connecting to Wi-Fi, signing in with your Apple ID, and configuring Face ID. You can transfer data from a previous iPhone or Android device using the Quick Start feature or by restoring from an iCloud or computer backup.
Compatibility: The iPhone 15 runs on iOS 17 and is compatible with a vast ecosystem of Apple services and accessories. It supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.3 for fast wireless connectivity. The USB-C port is compatible with a wide range of charging cables, accessories, and peripherals that adhere to the USB-C standard. It supports Nano-SIM and eSIM for dual SIM functionality.
Care: To maintain your iPhone 15's condition:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body. Avoid abrasive cloths or cleaning solutions. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water.
- Water Resistance: The iPhone 15 has an IP68 rating, meaning it's resistant to dust and water (up to 6 meters for 30 minutes). However, water resistance is not a permanent condition and may decrease over time. Avoid intentional submersion and exposure to soapy water, saltwater, or other liquids.
- Battery Health: To optimize battery life, enable features like Optimized Battery Charging in settings. Avoid extreme temperatures, as they can impact battery performance.
