Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
To prepare your boots for play, simply unlace them sufficiently to allow your foot to slide in comfortably. Adjust the lace closure to achieve your desired snugness, ensuring the boot feels secure but not constricting. Position the foldover tongue neatly over the laces and secure it with its integrated strap. This provides a clean striking surface and helps keep the laces tidy during play.
Compatibility
These adidas Predator x Bellingham League Tongue FG boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This means they are engineered to provide optimal traction and stability on natural grass pitches that are firm and dry. They are not recommended for use on artificial turf (AG) or soft ground (SG) surfaces, as this could affect performance and boot longevity.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe off excess mud and dirt from the upper and soleplate using a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a soft brush can be used on the soleplate.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight, radiators, or artificial heat sources, as these can damage the materials. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape.
Important Note: The gold lacquer finish on the bottom of this boot is designed to wear off during play. This is a cosmetic characteristic and does not affect the performance, grip, or durability of the product.
