FAQs

Are these candles made of real wax?

The TruGlow collection is designed to look authentic, but please check your product packaging or local support for specific material confirmation; they are generally treated as high-quality decorative items.

Can I use these candles outdoors?

No, these candles are specifically designed for indoor use only. Exposure to outdoor elements may damage the internal components.

How long do the batteries last?

Battery life depends on the quality of the batteries used, but the 6-hour timer function significantly extends battery life by preventing the candles from running overnight.

What is the diameter of the candles?

All three candles in the set have a consistent diameter of 7.5cm.

Can I use rechargeable batteries?

Yes, you can use rechargeable AA batteries to operate the candles.

Troubleshooting

Candle does not light up

Verify that the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity and ensure the battery compartment is securely closed.

Remote control is unresponsive

Check the battery level in the remote itself and ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote and the candle base.

Timer is not activating

Ensure the candle is switched to the 'Timer' mode via the remote control or the manual switch on the base.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Safe for households with children and pets due to the flameless design
Timer function prevents unnecessary battery drain
Elegant ribbed texture fits both modern and classic decor
Easy to arrange at varying heights for a professional look
No messy wax drips or soot marks

Cons

Strictly restricted to indoor use only
Requires 6 AA batteries in total for the full set
Should be kept out of direct sunlight to prevent potential material degradation

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup is straightforward: install 2 AA batteries into the base of each candle. To care for your TruGlow candles, keep them in a dry, room-temperature environment. Avoid placement near radiators, fireplaces, or other heat sources, as the material may soften. Because they are designed for indoor use, refrain from using them on patios or outdoor balconies. When not in use for an extended period, remove the batteries to ensure longevity and prevent corrosion. Dust the ribbed surfaces gently with a dry cloth; do not use chemical cleaners.
