FAQs

Does this lipstick dry out the lips?

No, it is enriched with Squalane, which helps lock in moisture for a comfortable, cushiony feel.

How long does the color last?

The formula is designed for up to 12 hours of comfortable, long-lasting wear.

Can I use this with a lip liner?

Yes, pairing it with the Lip Idôle Lip Shaper is recommended for a more defined, crisp contour.

Is the scent overpowering?

It has a distinct gourmand scent of popcorn and caramel; while many enjoy the sensory experience, those sensitive to fragrances may find it noticeable.

Does it have a shiny or matte finish?

It provides a modern, soft-focus matte finish that blurs imperfections.

Troubleshooting

Color appears uneven during application

Ensure lips are free of dead skin or prior oils; use a gentle lip scrub before application for a smooth base.

Product feels too thin

Wait a few seconds for the initial layer to set, then apply a second layer to build intensity.

Applicator picks up too much product

Wipe the excess product against the inside rim of the tube before applying to ensure a precise, thin layer.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Blurs visible lip lines effectively
Lightweight and breathable matte finish
Does not dry out the lips
Easy to build up color intensity
Precise and user-friendly applicator

Cons

Contains a strong gourmand fragrance
Matte finish might not satisfy those looking for high-shine gloss
Requires manual layering for full-coverage looks

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best application, start with clean, exfoliated lips. While the formula is moisturizing, any matte product will look best on a smooth surface. Simply pull the wand from the tube and apply directly to the center of your lips, blending outward using the applicator. If you prefer a more defined look, pair it with a coordinating lip liner. To care for your Lip Idôle CuddleBlur, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the formula. Always ensure the cap is tightened securely to prevent the air-sensitive cream from drying out prematurely.
