The Treat Factory Dual Pie Maker is designed for home cooks looking to prepare quick, consistent sweet or savory pies with minimal effort. It is ideal for individuals or small families who appreciate convenience, offering perfectly crispy crusts and even cooking for two pies at once. While it is highly efficient and space-saving, users should note that the unit is specifically sized for standard individual pies, which may limit the ability to cook larger, deep-dish varieties.

Yes, puff pastry works well, though it may rise more significantly than standard shortcrust; monitor the cooking time accordingly.
While the indicator light helps with preheating, you should check the pies visually for a golden-brown crust, typically taking only a few minutes depending on the recipe.
No, the cooking plates are fixed. Clean them by wiping with a damp cloth once the unit has cooled down completely.
The unit is designed for pies, but some users experiment with breakfast pockets or savory pastries, provided they fit within the plate dimensions.
The non-stick coating is effective, but for very lean doughs, a light brush of butter or oil can assist in getting an extra crispy finish.
Ensure the unit has fully preheated until the indicator light cycles off, and avoid overfilling the pie with too much wet filling.
Reduce the amount of filling per pie and ensure the pastry is properly sealed around the edges when closing the lid.
Check that the power cord is securely plugged into the outlet and verify that the power outlet itself is functional.
To set up your device, place it on a level, heat-resistant surface and plug it into a standard wall outlet. Allow it to cycle through its initial preheat phase before first use. Compatibility is broad, as the unit works well with both store-bought rolled pastry sheets and traditional homemade shortcrust dough. To maintain the non-stick surface, never use metal utensils; instead, opt for silicone or wooden tools to remove pies. After the device has cooled completely, wipe the plates with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. Avoid submerging the unit in water or using abrasive scouring pads, as these will damage the non-stick coating.
