The adidas Men's Racer TR23 Shoes are primarily designed for casual wear, walking, and light activities. While they offer comfort for light jogging, they are not engineered for serious or long-distance running performance.
You can clean the textile upper by wiping it gently with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or machine washing, as these can damage the material. Air dry completely at room temperature.
Cloudfoam is adidas' proprietary EVA foam technology that provides superior cushioning. It is designed to be incredibly soft and comfortable, offering excellent shock absorption and a plush feel with every step.
Generally, adidas shoes are considered true to size. We recommend ordering your usual UK shoe size. However, foot shape can vary, so if you are between sizes, consider trying them on or consulting a size chart if available.
The textile upper is not waterproof. While they can handle light splashes, prolonged exposure to rain or wet conditions may result in your feet getting wet and potentially damage the shoe materials. It's best to avoid heavy rain.
These shoes are best suited for everyday casual wear, walking, light gym workouts, and general leisure activities where comfort and style are desired. Their design supports daily movement and comfort.
Adjust the lace tension. Try re-lacing from scratch to ensure even pressure. If consistently too tight, check if the shoe size is correct for your foot length and width. If too loose, try a thicker sock or consider if a smaller size might be needed.
Ensure you are wearing breathable socks, preferably made from moisture-wicking materials. The textile upper is designed for breathability, but sock choice can significantly impact comfort. Allow shoes to air out between wears.
This can sometimes be caused by the insole rubbing against the shoe's interior. Try removing the insole, cleaning underneath, and replacing it. A small amount of talcum powder under the insole can also help. If the squeak persists, it might be due to a loose component in the sole or moisture.
Allow your shoes to air out thoroughly after each use, especially if they got wet or your feet sweat. Remove insoles occasionally to clean and air them separately. You can use shoe deodorizers, baking soda sprinkled inside overnight (then vacuumed out), or cedar shoe inserts to absorb moisture and neutralize odors.
The Cloudfoam midsole, while durable, can compress over extensive use. This is normal wear and tear for cushioned footwear. Ensure you're not using the shoes for activities beyond their intended light-duty purpose, which can accelerate compression. Rotating your footwear can also extend the life of the cushioning.
