The Regatta Kids’ Pack It Packaway Jacket is designed for young adventurers who need reliable protection from the elements without added bulk. Its key benefit is providing lightweight, waterproof, and breathable coverage, making it ideal for unpredictable weather. A potential caveat is that its lightweight nature might offer less insulation in very cold conditions. This jacket utilizes advanced Isolite 15000 fabric with taped seams to keep children dry and comfortable during outdoor activities, and it conveniently packs into its own stuff sack for easy transport.

The jacket is designed for waterproof and breathable protection. For very cold weather, it is recommended to layer warm clothing underneath, such as fleece or thermal base layers, as the jacket itself provides minimal insulation.
Machine wash at 40°C using a non-biological liquid detergent. Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron, or dry clean. Always close zips and fasteners before washing. Hang to dry.
'Packaway' means the jacket can be easily folded or rolled into its own integrated stuff sack, making it very compact and convenient to carry in a backpack or bag.
Yes, the jacket is available in kids' sizes, including smaller sizes suitable for toddlers. However, ensure you select the correct size for a comfortable fit, especially if layering.
The jacket features Isolite 15000 fabric and taped seams, which offer excellent waterproof protection for moderate to heavy rain. Prolonged exposure in extreme conditions may eventually lead to saturation, but it is designed to keep children dry during typical outdoor activities.
Based on the product description, the hood is a fixed feature designed for extra protection and cannot be removed.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish may have worn off. Re-apply a DWR treatment suitable for technical outerwear after washing and drying according to care instructions.
This can occur if the jacket is not breathable enough for the activity level or if the inner layer is trapping moisture. Ensure the jacket is properly zipped and consider layering with moisture-wicking fabrics.
Gently clean the zipper teeth with a damp cloth and a small brush. Apply a silicone-based lubricant or wax specifically designed for zippers.
Ensure the jacket is completely dry before packing. Roll or fold it tightly to fit into the designated stuff sack.
Setup: This jacket requires no assembly. Simply unpack it from its stuff sack and put it on.
Compatibility: While the jacket itself is a standalone garment, it is designed to be worn over other clothing. For colder weather, layering is recommended. It is suitable for unisex children and comes in various sizes.
