Yes, it features Karrimor's WeatherTite Technology, which provides reliable waterproof performance to keep you dry in rainy conditions.
The jacket is constructed from 100% Polyester, offering both durability and lightweight comfort.
Always follow the specific instructions on the care label inside the jacket. Generally, it's best to wash waterproof jackets with a specialized technical cleaner for outdoor gear and avoid conventional detergents or fabric softeners.
Yes, the jacket is equipped with two zipped pockets, providing secure storage for your essentials.
Yes, thanks to its WeatherTite Technology and mesh inner lining, the jacket offers high breathability for enhanced comfort during wear.
The Karrimor Sierra is designed as a lightweight waterproof shell, ideal for protection from rain and wind. For very cold winter conditions, it would be necessary to wear additional insulating layers underneath, as the jacket itself does not provide significant warmth.
Yes, it features a hooded neckline for extra protection from wind and rain.
Ensure the jacket is clean, as dirt can impede waterproof performance. The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating may need to be reactivated or reapplied after extended use or washing. Follow care label instructions for washing and consider using a DWR reproofer.
Ensure you are wearing appropriate base layers that wick moisture away from your skin, rather than cotton. Check that the mesh inner lining is clean and not obstructed by other layers. Ensure proper ventilation by slightly unzipping if conditions allow.
Check if any fabric is caught in the zipper. Gently try to free it. Applying a small amount of zipper lubricant or rubbing a pencil lead along the teeth can often help smooth its movement. Avoid forcing the zipper to prevent damage.
This jacket requires no special setup; simply put it on as needed. It is compatible with standard layering systems for varying temperatures. For care, always refer to the specific wash and care instructions provided on the garment's internal care label. Typically, waterproof garments benefit from being washed with technical outdoor gear cleaner, rather than conventional detergents, to maintain their waterproof and breathable properties. Avoid fabric softeners. Air drying is usually recommended.
