Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maintain the high performance of your jacket, always ensure that all zippers are fully closed before washing. Wash the garment in cold water on a gentle cycle using a technical detergent designed for waterproof membranes; avoid using fabric softeners as they can clog the pores of the fabric and compromise breathability. For drying, a low-heat tumble cycle can help reactivate the H2OShield water repellent finish. If the jacket begins to "wet out" (where water soaks into the fabric rather than beading off), it is time to re-apply a DWR treatment. Always store the jacket in a cool, dry place and avoid hanging it in direct sunlight for extended periods to prevent UV degradation of the material.
