FAQs
Can these boots be used on natural grass?
Yes, they are suitable for firm natural grass, but they are specifically optimized for artificial grass and turf surfaces.
Are these boots waterproof?
While the synthetic upper provides some water resistance, they are not fully waterproof and should be dried properly after wet conditions.
How do I ensure the correct size?
These boots are a regular fit. It is recommended to leave a small gap of about a thumb's width between your toes and the front of the boot for comfort.
Do the studs wear down quickly on turf?
The MG soleplate is designed for the friction of artificial surfaces, though durability depends on how frequently they are used and the specific abrasiveness of the pitch.
Can I put these boots in the washing machine?
No, machine washing can damage the adhesive and the structural integrity of the boots. Always hand clean them.
Troubleshooting
Boots feel slippery on wet turf
Ensure the outsole studs are free of packed dirt or rubber crumb; accumulation can reduce the surface area available for traction.
Upper material losing grip
Gently clean the Strikescale elements with a soft brush and mild soapy water to remove dust and debris that builds up in the textures.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Excellent ball control and swerve thanks to Strikescale elements
- Versatile soleplate ideal for multiple playing surfaces
- Lightweight construction prevents foot fatigue
- Comfortable fit for developing young players
Cons
- Not suitable for extremely muddy natural grass pitches
- Requires regular cleaning to maintain grip element effectiveness
- Fit may vary significantly between sock thicknesses
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To get the best out of these boots, ensure you are wearing the appropriate thickness of football socks to achieve a secure fit. Since these are multi-ground boots, they perform best on artificial grass (AG) and modern turf pitches.
Care Instructions:
- After each session, knock off loose dirt and grass from the outsole.
- Wipe the HybridFeel upper with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that could degrade the grip elements.
- Remove the insoles if they become wet and let the boots air dry naturally. Never place them directly on radiators or heat sources, as this can warp the material and weaken adhesives.
