The Hug Rug Candy Portland Stripe Washable Doormat is an ideal solution for homeowners looking to protect their floors from debris while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic. Designed for high-traffic areas like entryways, kitchens, or hallways, this British-made mat excels at trapping dirt, dust, and moisture; however, users should note that the low-profile design is primarily intended for indoor use to ensure the longevity of its recycled fibers.

This mat is designed for indoor use. While it is durable, prolonged exposure to rain and direct sunlight may degrade the recycled materials.
Yes, the materials used are non-toxic and safe for homes with pets.
The mat has a pile height of approximately 9mm, which is thin enough to fit under the majority of standard interior doors.
No, it is recommended to line dry the mat to preserve the integrity of the recycled latex backing.
The anti-slip backing is designed to work effectively on hard floors like wood, laminate, tile, and vinyl.
Washing frequency depends on usage. We recommend washing when you notice the trapping performance decreasing or if visible stains appear.
Ensure the floor is clean and dry before placing the mat down, as dust on the floor can prevent the latex backing from gripping effectively.
Lay the mat upside down for a few hours to allow the fibers and backing to relax, or place a heavy flat object on the edges.
Setting up the Hug Rug is simple; just unroll it in your desired location. The mat is compatible with most hard floor surfaces and carpets.
