TIMCO Cable Ties are essential for homeowners, electricians, and tradespeople looking to organize or secure cables, hoses, and general items efficiently. These 100mm ties offer a reliable, low-cost solution for light-duty bundling, though their fixed length and non-releasable design mean they are best suited for permanent or semi-permanent installations rather than temporary adjustments.

No, these are standard locking ties and are designed for single-use only.
Yes, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, they are suitable for a variety of conditions, though long-term UV exposure will eventually degrade the plastic.
The maximum bundle diameter is 20mm.
The ties have a tensile strength of 8.1kg.
They are manufactured from high-quality industrial-grade nylon.
Yes, they are manufactured and tested in accordance with BS EN 62275.
Nylon can lose moisture over time or become degraded by prolonged UV exposure; store in a sealed bag and avoid extreme sunlight.
Ensure the serrated side is facing inward toward the cable bundle and the end is inserted squarely into the head.
To use these cable ties, feed the tapered end through the self-locking head and pull tight until the desired tension is achieved. Once locked, the internal teeth prevent the tie from sliding back. While these ties are durable, they should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the plastic over long periods. When installing, avoid overtightening to the point where the cable insulation is compromised. If you are trimming the excess length, use a flush-cut side cutter to ensure the remaining stub is smooth and does not have sharp edges that could scratch skin or damage other wires.
