This specific product is designed as a masonry paint for exterior use. For interior projects, consider the Mylands Marble Matt Emulsion range.
Yes, using the Mylands White Primer and Undercoat is highly recommended to improve adhesion, even surface texture, and ensure a long-lasting, flawless result.
We recommend using a quality masonry brush or a medium-pile roller designed specifically for exterior emulsion paints.
Keep the container tightly sealed in a cool, dry area. Avoid extreme temperatures and frost to prevent the paint from spoiling.
The paint contains yellow oxide and red pigments, which react dynamically to natural light, providing a vibrant but delicate appearance throughout the day.
Ensure the surface is properly primed with a white primer and undercoat. Check that the masonry is free of moisture and dirt before application.
Ensure you are using a consistent roller pressure and applying an even layer. If the surface is highly porous, add an additional coat after the first has fully dried.
For the most durable and professional finish, start by ensuring your masonry surface is clean, dry, and free of loose debris or dust. The manufacturer strongly recommends using the Mylands White Primer and Undercoat before applying the final color; this base layer acts as a foundation that evens out surface porosity and improves paint adhesion. Apply with a high-quality masonry brush or a medium-pile roller designed for exterior emulsions. Store the container in a cool, dry place away from frost to maintain the paint's consistency for future touch-ups.
