Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your jacket remains waterproof, always close all zippers and fasten the Velcro cuffs before washing. Use a technical cleaner suitable for waterproof membranes rather than standard detergent, which can strip away protective coatings. The jacket is designed with an adjustable shock-cord hem to accommodate different layers underneath; ensure this is tightened when facing high-velocity winds. Avoid storing the jacket in a compressed state for long periods to prevent damaging the insulation loft. If the outer fabric begins to 'wet out'—where water no longer beads off—apply a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray after a gentle wash to restore functionality.
