Troubleshooting

Drawers stick or are difficult to open/close

Ensure the chest is on a level surface. Check for any obstructions in the drawer runners. A light application of beeswax polish on the runners might help smooth operation.

Surface marks or dullness

Dust regularly with a dry cloth. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Reapply beeswax polish if the finish appears dull.

Wobbling or instability

Check that the chest is on a flat, stable floor. If the floor is uneven, consider using shims to level the unit. Ensure all components are secure, though as a fully assembled piece, this is less common.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: This chest of drawers is delivered fully assembled, meaning it is ready to be placed in your desired location immediately upon arrival. No assembly is required.

Compatibility: The Lanner Oak range, including this chest of drawers, combines perfectly with items from the Zelah range due to their identical finish. It complements rustic, country, and traditional interior design themes. Its white colour family designation suggests a light wood tone typical of natural oak.

Care: To maintain the hand-waxed finish and the natural beauty of the oak, regularly dust with a soft, dry cloth. For spills or marks, use a slightly damp cloth and wipe dry immediately. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, abrasive pads, or furniture polish, as these can damage the waxed finish. Periodically, you may wish to reapply a good quality beeswax polish to refresh the finish, following the product's instructions.
