The LPD Carini Solid Core Internal Door is an ideal choice for homeowners and renovators seeking a blend of contemporary style and robust structural integrity. Featuring a distinctive seven-panel design with an unfinished oak grain, this door offers exceptional versatility for those looking to customize their interior finish through painting or staining. While it provides excellent sound insulation and durability due to its solid core construction, users should be prepared to handle the finishing process as the product arrives in an unfinished state.

No, this is an unfinished door, meaning you will need to apply your own paint, stain, or clear coat after installation.
While the door can be trimmed slightly, you should refer to the manufacturer's specific guidelines regarding the maximum amount that can be removed without compromising the solid core integrity.
This specific model (OCAR726) is a standard internal door. LPD does offer separate fire-rated versions of the Carini series if fire safety compliance is required.
Given the solid core construction, it is recommended to use at least three 3-inch or 4-inch heavy-duty ball-bearing hinges to properly support the weight.
Yes, but you must ensure all edges are fully sealed and finished to protect the wood core from steam and moisture.
Check the hinge alignment and adjust the screws. If the gap is too tight, you may need to plane the edge slightly before finishing.
Ensure the surface is properly sanded and free of dust or oils before applying your chosen primer or stain.
Installation should be performed using standard carpentry tools, but due to the solid core, ensure that you use high-quality, heavy-duty hinges to support the door's weight. Before installing, it is recommended that you store the door flat in a dry, temperature-controlled environment to prevent warping. Always seal or finish all sides, including the top and bottom edges, before installation to prevent moisture absorption. Regular dusting with a soft cloth is sufficient for maintenance, and touch-ups can be performed easily if the finish is scratched or worn over time.
