The Catherine Lansfield Super Thermal Blackout Matt Velour Eyelet Curtains are an ideal choice for homeowners looking to add a touch of luxury while improving room insulation and privacy. These curtains feature a premium soft-touch matt velvet fabric that provides a rich, contemporary aesthetic, paired with a functional 1-pass thermal blackout lining. While they offer excellent thermal regulation and light-blocking capabilities, potential buyers should note that the velvet texture requires careful handling to avoid pressure marks or dust accumulation over time.

Always check the specific care label attached to the product, as velvet fabrics often require dry cleaning to preserve the texture.
The eyelets have a 4cm diameter, which is compatible with most standard-sized decorative curtain poles.
While the lining is highly effective at reducing light penetration, some light may still leak around the edges of the curtain pole.
It is not recommended, as moisture can damage the velvet pile and potentially affect the thermal backing over time.
Please verify your specific order, as standard curtains are often sold as a pair, but it is best to check the package contents.
Use a steamer on the non-velvet side to gently release creases without flattening the pile.
Ensure the curtain pole is clean and free of obstructions; use a small amount of silicone-based lubricant on the pole if resistance continues.
Use a soft garment brush or a vacuum cleaner with a soft upholstery attachment to gently lift particles from the fabric pile.
Installation is straightforward due to the eyelet design; simply slide your curtain pole through the 4cm diameter eyelets. These are compatible with standard-sized curtain poles found in most homes. To maintain the luxurious finish, ensure the curtains are not placed where they might be crushed against walls. If the fabric develops creases during transit or installation, use a gentle handheld steamer on the reverse side of the fabric to smooth them out. Avoid direct contact with heavy heat sources and check the manufacturer's care label specifically for cleaning instructions, as the velvet material may require specialized dry cleaning or delicate hand washing.
