FAQs

How do I remove L'Absolu Rouge Drama Ink?

Use a dedicated makeup remover designed for long-wear lip products. Apply the remover to a cotton pad and gently wipe your lips.

How long does L'Absolu Rouge Drama Ink last?

It can last up to eight hours without fading or transfer, depending on your activities.

Can I layer the lip ink?

For best results, apply a single, thin layer. Layering can cause the product to become uneven or cakey.

Is L'Absolu Rouge Drama Ink suitable for sensitive lips?

Lancome products are formulated for all skin types, however, if you have sensitive lips, it's always a good idea to perform a patch test before applying the product all over your lips.

What should I do if the applicator dries out?

Clean the applicator and ensure the cap is tightly closed after use to prevent drying. If it dries out, you may need to replace the product.

Can I use a lip liner with this product?

Yes, using a lip liner can help to define the lips, extend wear, and prevent the color from feathering.

How do I choose the right shade?

Consider your skin tone, undertones, and the occasion. Try out different shades and consult Lancome's shade guide for assistance.

Troubleshooting

Lip ink appears patchy or uneven after application.

Exfoliate your lips before application. Use a lip scrub to remove any dead skin cells. Ensure you're applying a thin, even layer of the product.

Lip ink is transferring or fading quickly.

Ensure your lips are clean and dry before application. Avoid oily foods or drinks. Consider using a lip liner to help set the color and prevent feathering.

Color is different than expected.

The color may appear different on the screen than when applied. Consider trying the shade on in person or reading reviews with swatches for a better understanding.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Ensure your lips are clean and moisturized.
Apply a lip primer or lip balm for a smoother base (optional).
