Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Unroll the netting carefully to avoid snags.
- Cut the netting to the required size using sharp scissors or a craft knife. The material will not fray.
- Drape the netting directly over your plants, raised beds, or support frames.
- Secure the edges firmly using garden pegs, weights, or by burying the edges slightly in the soil to create a pest-proof seal.
Compatibility:
This netting is compatible with most garden setups, including:
- Direct sowing areas
- Raised garden beds
- Individual plants
- Frames and hoops
- Greenhouses (as an additional barrier)
Care:
- Cleaning: Gently rinse the netting with water to remove dirt or debris. A soft brush can be used for stubborn dirt. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: After the growing season, clean the netting thoroughly and fold it neatly. Store in a dry, protected area (e.g., a shed or garage) to prolong its lifespan.
- Maintenance: Periodically check for any tears or damage and repair them if necessary to maintain effectiveness.
