The SMX Air Sport Jacket is designed for warm weather riding, featuring a main chassis constructed from tech mesh on the rider’s abdomen, back, and inner arms, paired with 450D polyfabric reinforcement on the outer arms and shoulders. Perforated 450D polyfabric on the upper chest ensures excellent airflow. Extended polyamide stretch material is incorporated on the rider’s back, shoulders, and sides, with a high-density stretch material on the upper back. This stretch material provides an adaptive fit and freedom of movement, and offers expansion for use with the Tech-Air® 5 Airbag System. For optimal climate comfort and versatility, the jacket includes a detachable windbreaker liner to reduce airflow when needed. DFS Lite external shoulder sliders and Nucleon Flex Plus CE Level 1 armor on the shoulders, elbows, and forearms provide impact protection, resulting in an overall CE rating of A. Derived from Alpinestars’ MX DNA, this highly ventilated jacket is ideal for everyday commuters and weekend riders seeking a versatile and protective street sport jacket for warm climates.
