The Karen Millen Soft Tailored Halterneck Open Back Maxi Dress is designed for the modern adult woman seeking a sophisticated, architectural silhouette for formal events such as weddings or black-tie receptions. This floor-sweeping garment offers a striking balance between a modest high neckline and a dramatic open back, providing a polished look that flows gracefully with the wearer. While its soft tailored polyester fabric ensures a flawless drape and comfort, users should note that the maxi length and open back design necessitate specific styling considerations regarding undergarments and footwear.

Due to the open-back design, it is best to opt for adhesive stick-on bras or silicone cups to maintain a clean, backless look.
Yes, the floor-length design and side split make it comfortable for outdoor movement. For cooler evenings, pair it with a wrap or blazer.
Professional dry cleaning is recommended to protect the tailoring and lining of the garment.
Yes, the dress can be professionally tailored if you need to adjust the length or the fit, though ensure the tailor is experienced with lined polyester garments.
This garment is made from high-quality polyester, chosen for its durability, resistance to creasing, and ability to hold a tailored silhouette.
Use a handheld steamer on a low, delicate setting, keeping the nozzle a few inches away from the fabric.
Consider wearing shoes with a slightly higher heel or consult a professional tailor to have the hem adjusted to your specific height.
To keep your Karen Millen dress in pristine condition, prioritize professional dry cleaning to maintain the integrity of the polyester fabric and the internal lining. Because of the open-back design, it is recommended to use adhesive or backless undergarments to ensure a seamless look. When preparing for an event, steam the dress gently on a low setting to remove any wrinkles from storage, being careful to avoid high heat directly on the seams. Store the dress in a breathable garment bag when not in use to protect the fabric from dust and accidental snagging.
