FAQs
Can this awning be left out all year?
While the materials are weather-resistant, it is strongly recommended to retract the awning during winter months or severe storms to prolong its lifespan.
Is the awning remote-operated only?
No, it features dual controls, allowing you to use the included remote or operate it manually if needed.
What tools are needed for installation?
You will need a drill, heavy-duty wall anchors appropriate for your wall type, a spirit level, and a ladder.
How do I clean the awning fabric?
Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt and wash with a mild soap solution. Rinse with clear water and allow to dry completely before retracting.
What is a semi-cassette design?
It means that the awning is partially enclosed when retracted, providing partial protection for the fabric against dust and light rain.
Troubleshooting
Awning does not extend or retract via remote
Check the power supply connection and ensure the remote batteries are fully charged or replaced.
Fabric appears loose when fully extended
Check the tensioning arms to ensure they are locked correctly and that no debris is obstructing the retraction mechanism.
Awning makes unusual noise during operation
Inspect the moving parts and pivot points for debris or lack of lubrication; ensure the unit is mounted level.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires mounting the unit to a sturdy, load-bearing wall or surface capable of supporting the weight of the frame and the torque generated when extended. It is recommended to check that your installation site has access to a standard electrical outlet for the motor.
For ongoing care, keep the fabric clean by periodically brushing off loose dirt or leaves. If the fabric becomes stained, use mild soap and water with a soft brush; never use abrasive cleaners or high-pressure washers, as these may damage the PU coating. Ensure the awning is fully retracted during high winds to prevent frame damage.
