Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure boots are laced snugly but not too tightly, allowing for comfortable movement and optimal lockdown. Experiment with different lacing patterns if you experience pressure points.
- Break-In Period: Like most new footwear, these boots may require a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions before competitive matches to allow them to conform to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for shorter synthetic turf (TF) surfaces. Using them on natural grass (FG), firm ground (FG), soft ground (SG), or indoor courts (IC) will not only compromise performance and safety but can also lead to premature wear and damage to the boots.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and debris using a soft brush or damp cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild soap solution and rinse thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (like radiators or dryers) as these can cause materials to stiffen, crack, or shrink. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures. Using a boot bag can protect them from dust and damage.
