The North Face NSE Wind Track Jacket is designed for active adults who need a versatile, lightweight outer layer for windy and unpredictable weather conditions. Utilizing signature WindWall™ technology, this jacket offers an excellent balance of wind resistance, breathability, and durability, making it ideal for both rugged mountain trails and urban exploration. While it excels at blocking wind and providing water-repellent protection, users should note that it is a lightweight shell and not a heavy-duty insulated winter coat.

It is water-repellent due to a DWR treatment, meaning it can handle light rain, but it is not seam-sealed and should not be considered fully waterproof in heavy rain.
The jacket is primarily a wind shell. It does not contain insulation, so you would need to layer it over a down jacket or heavy fleece for warmth in winter.
Machine wash on a gentle cycle, preferably using a technical cleaner. Always hang to dry to protect the fabric properties.
Yes, the jacket includes adjustments to help seal the hem, ensuring a snug fit that prevents wind from entering from below.
The jacket is designed for standard outdoor activity, offering a fit that allows for layering underneath while remaining streamlined.
The DWR finish may have worn off. Wash the jacket with a technical gear cleaner and reapply a DWR spray treatment.
Clear any lint, hair, or debris from the hooks of the Velcro strip using a small brush or a pair of tweezers.
To ensure the longevity of the jacket, always consult the internal care label before cleaning. Generally, the garment is machine washable, but it is recommended to use a gentle cycle with a technical fabric detergent to maintain the integrity of the DWR finish. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can clog the pores of the technical fabric. For optimal performance, hang-dry the jacket away from direct heat sources. If you notice water beads no longer forming on the surface, consider reapplying a standard DWR treatment spray after washing.
