Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting started with your Predator 24 League Laceless boots is straightforward. Simply slide your foot into the ADIKNIT sock component. Due to the laceless design, a snug fit is crucial. Initially, they might feel tight, but the synthetic upper and ADIKNIT sock are designed to mold to your foot over a few wearings. We recommend wearing them for a short period during a warm-up or light training session to break them in before a full match.
Compatibility
- Ground Type: These boots are specifically designed and optimized for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This typically refers to natural grass surfaces that are dry to slightly damp. Using them on artificial turf (AG) or very soft/muddy ground (SG) can lead to premature wear or reduced performance and grip.
- User: Designed for adult male footballers.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, especially on muddy pitches, clean off any dirt or grass. Use a soft brush or damp cloth to wipe down the upper and outsole. For stubborn mud, a mild soap solution can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store them in a cool, dry place. Using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb any residual moisture.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Never machine wash or tumble dry your football boots. This can cause irreversible damage.
