Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Regatta Slyvan jacket, adhere to standard care practices for technical outerwear. Always check the internal garment tag for specific washing instructions, but generally, use a non-biological detergent and avoid fabric softeners, which can degrade the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating. Close all zips, including the storm flap and pocket zips, before placing the garment in a washing machine to prevent snagging. For drying, a low-heat tumble dry can help reactivate the water-repellent finish on the outer fabric. Store the jacket on a sturdy hanger in a dry, well-ventilated area to maintain the loft of the Thermoguard insulation.
