The Mat Bar Chair from Normann Copenhagen is a versatile seating solution designed by Foersom and Hiort-Lorenzen. It is available in two heights: 65 cm (Bar Stool) and 75 cm (Breakfast Bar Stool). The chair's shell is crafted from a sustainable blend of 75% hemp fibers and 25% recyclable bico binder. An alternative Seaweed edition incorporates 69% hemp, 6% eelgrass, and 25% binder. The base options include FSC™️-certified beech plywood or powder-coated steel in Cream or Black. Wooden base variants feature a powder-coated steel footrest ring for added stability. The Mat Bar Chair has received accolades for its design and eco-friendly production, including Product of the Year at the Mix Awards 2024 and Green Idea of the Year at Bo Bedre’s Design Awards 2024. Manufactured in Denmark, it emphasizes sustainability with all components eligible for Normann Copenhagen's take-back recycling program. Simple maintenance involves cleaning with a damp cloth. The Mat Bar Chair offers a stylish and environmentally conscious choice for modern interiors.
