Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Unroll the rug upon arrival. For the first few days, you may notice some minor wrinkling or creasing as the rug settles. To help it lay flat, you can place heavy objects on the corners or edges. Ensure the rug is placed on a clean, dry surface.
Compatibility: This rug is suitable for use with underfloor heating and robot hoovers. It is designed for indoor use only. For longevity, it is recommended to use a rug pad (not included) to prevent slipping and protect both the rug and your floor.
Care Instructions:
- Regular Cleaning: Vacuum regularly using a standard vacuum cleaner. Avoid using a beater bar on high pile settings, though this rug has a low pile.
- Spot Cleaning: For small stains, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. If necessary, use a mild detergent or carpet cleaner and blot the area gently. Avoid soaking the rug.
- Loose Threads: If you notice any loose rug threads, do not pull them. Carefully cut them with scissors to maintain the rug's integrity.
- Washing: The rug is listed as hand washable, which typically involves gentle spot cleaning or a very careful hand wash in a suitable area, ensuring it dries completely to prevent mildew.
