This guide is for parents and guardians looking for a durable, waterproof jacket for active children aged 5-6 years. The Regatta Printed Lever II offers excellent weather protection and breathability, ensuring kids stay dry and comfortable during outdoor play or school days. A key consideration is that while it provides robust waterproofing, it's designed as a lightweight shell, so layering may be needed for extreme cold.

No, this is a lightweight waterproof shell jacket. It is designed to keep you dry and protected from wind, but it does not have built-in insulation. For cold weather, layering is recommended.
You can machine wash the jacket at 30°C with similar colors. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and dry cleaning. Tumble dry on low or air dry, and iron on a low setting if needed.
Yes, the jacket features a unisex design and fit, making it suitable for children of all genders.
Breathable fabric allows water vapor (like sweat) to escape from the inside of the jacket, preventing the wearer from feeling clammy and overheated during activity.
Refer to standard children's sizing charts. This specific jacket is for size 5-6 years. Consider checking the chest and height measurements if available for the best fit.
Yes, if the original DWR treatment wears off, you can reapply a suitable DWR spray for outdoor clothing to maintain water repellency. Follow the product's instructions carefully.
Ensure the jacket was washed according to care instructions. Avoid fabric softeners and harsh detergents, which can degrade the waterproof treatment. Consider a re-waterproofing spray suitable for outdoor gear if performance diminishes over time.
Adjust the hood fit if there are any drawstrings. Ensure the mesh lining is not twisted. For children with sensitive heads, ensure no bulky layers underneath are interfering with the hood's placement.
Check for any fabric caught in the zipper teeth. Gently pull the fabric away. Apply a small amount of wax or graphite (from a pencil lead) to the zipper teeth to improve glide. Ensure the zipper is properly aligned before zipping.
This jacket requires no assembly and is ready to wear straight out of the packaging. It is compatible with a wide range of children's clothing, suitable for layering over t-shirts, jumpers, or fleeces.
