For long-lasting wood protection in all weather, look no further than Barrettine Ultimate UV Protection Oil. Perfect for use on cladding and timber, it prevents the weathering and UV damage that causes wood to swell, twist and grey. The premium blend of natural oils, waxes, and resins not only protects against weather damage, but also contains a film biocide to preserve and maintain the finish. This durable, transparent finish offers excellent water beading too - this wood oil is resistant to flaking, peeling, cracking and blistering. Protects against weathering and UV damage, prevents wood swelling, twisting or greying. Water-repellant on both softwood and hardwood. Resistant to flaking, peeling, cracking or blistering. Contains a film biocide to maintain the finish. 2.5L tin - coverage of up to 20m² with two coats. Our wood protector oil is an award-winning, premium blend of natural oils, waxes, and resins, incorporating the latest UV stabilising technology for top protection against weathering and UV damage that causes wood to swell, twist, and grey. The UV Oil contains a careful balance of UV absorbers and antioxidants, designed to capture the damaging UV rays from the sun and dissipate them safely as heat. In this way, the UV Oil is able to defend the wood against greying and impart a subtle, enhanced warmth to its appearance. The transparent/clear oil and wax formula imparts excellent water repellence to both softwood and hardwood, giving a microporous finish that is resistant to flaking, peeling, cracking and blistering. Thanks to its versatile nature, the protective wood oil clear is suitable for both interior & exterior type wood, including doors, windows, and structural timbers. Apply 2-3 coats evenly using a high-quality brush and/or roller. Apply the first coat generously until the wood is saturated. Wait at least 4 hours and apply any extra coats sparingly, as the gloss will increase.
