The De'Longhi Nescafé Dolce Gusto Piccolo XS is an ideal solution for coffee lovers living in small spaces who value convenience and speed without sacrificing quality. This compact pod machine delivers professional-grade beverages with its 15-bar pressure system, allowing you to craft a wide variety of hot and cold drinks in seconds; however, users should note that the manual operation requires active supervision to stop water flow once the desired cup size is reached.

The Piccolo XS is designed specifically for Nescafé Dolce Gusto capsules to ensure optimal pressure and flavor extraction.
Move the selection lever to the blue (cold) mark on the machine to brew without activating the heating element.
Depending on usage and water hardness, it is recommended to descale the machine every 3 to 6 months.
It is recommended to hand wash the water tank with warm soapy water to avoid heat deformation.
No, the Piccolo XS is a manual machine; you must move the lever back to the middle position to stop the water flow.
Check if the water tank is properly seated and full, or if the capsule needle is clogged by coffee residue.
Ensure you are using the correct water volume for the specific pod and verify that the capsule was inserted properly.
Confirm the power plug is firmly inserted into a functioning outlet and check that the internal fuse or circuit has not tripped.
Setting up the Piccolo XS is straightforward: fill the tank with fresh water, plug it in, and run a cleaning cycle without a capsule to prime the internal pump. The machine is exclusively compatible with genuine Nescafé Dolce Gusto hermetically sealed capsules. To maintain the machine, perform a descaling process every 3-6 months depending on local water hardness. Wipe down the exterior with a soft, damp cloth and regularly rinse the capsule holder to prevent coffee oil buildup. Ensure the drip tray is emptied and cleaned weekly to prevent odors.
