The water-repellent finish can diminish over time with washing. Consider re-applying a suitable DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment designed for outdoor clothing after cleaning, following the product's instructions.

Gently pull the zipper while trying to straighten the fabric around it. If stiffness persists, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant or graphite from a pencil can be applied to the zipper teeth. Avoid forcing the zipper.
