Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before your first hike, wear the shoes indoors for several hours to ensure the sizing and fit are correct, as hiking boots should have enough room for slightly thicker socks. To maintain the waterproof capabilities, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth after every trip to remove mud and dirt, which can otherwise compromise the breathability of the Isotex membrane. Do not machine wash or tumble dry the shoes; instead, air dry them naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the material to warp or crack over time. If the shoes become soaked inside, stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture.
