Product Information

Full details

The Under Armour Motion Full Zip is an ideal choice for active women seeking a versatile layering piece that transitions seamlessly from high-intensity studio sessions to casual everyday wear. Crafted from buttery-soft polyester, it offers exceptional flexibility through 4-way stretch material and includes integrated odor control to maintain freshness throughout the day. While the jacket is engineered to be environmentally conscious by shedding fewer microplastics, users should note that the lightweight fabric is best suited for mild climates or layering rather than extreme weather conditions.

FAQs

Is this jacket waterproof?

No, the Under Armour Motion Full Zip is designed for breathability and comfort rather than weatherproofing.

Does the fabric have moisture-wicking properties?

Yes, the polyester blend is designed to wick sweat and keep you dry during physical activity.

Can I use this for outdoor running in the winter?

It serves well as a mid-layer, but it is not insulated enough to be your sole outer layer in cold or windy conditions.

How do I choose the right size?

The jacket follows standard athletic sizing. Refer to the Under Armour size chart, keeping in mind it is designed to be form-fitting.

Does the odor control wear off?

The odor control is integrated into the fabric, but following care instructions and avoiding fabric softeners will maximize its effectiveness over time.

Troubleshooting

Zipper feels stiff or catches

Ensure no fabric is trapped in the track and clean the teeth with a dry cloth to remove debris.

Odor lingering after wash

Ensure you are using a dedicated athletic wash detergent and avoid overloading the washing machine.

Fabric snagging

Avoid contact with rough surfaces or sharp objects like jewelry that can pull the synthetic fibers.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Extremely flexible and non-restrictive fit
  • Soft, comfortable fabric texture
  • Effective odor management during active use
  • Sustainable design reduces microplastic shed
  • Versatile style suitable for gym or casual settings

Cons

  • Lightweight material offers limited warmth in freezing temperatures
  • Open pockets lack zippers, which may not secure valuables during vigorous movement
  • Requires specific care to maintain the integrity of the specialized fabric

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Under Armour Motion Full Zip, follow these guidelines:

  1. Washing: Machine wash in cold water with similar colors to prevent dye transfer.
  2. Detergent: Use mild detergents; avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as these can degrade the odor control technology and fabric elasticity.
  3. Drying: Tumble dry on a low setting or hang-dry in a well-ventilated area to reduce energy use and minimize microplastic shedding.
  4. Ironing: Avoid ironing directly on the fabric to prevent heat damage to the synthetic fibers.
  5. Fit: This jacket is designed for an active, athletic fit. If you prefer a looser style for layering heavier tops underneath, you may consider sizing up.
