FAQs

What is the VDE rating, and why is it important?

The VDE rating indicates that the screwdrivers have been tested and certified for electrical safety, providing insulation for work up to 1000V AC. This is important to protect the user from electrical shock.

What does 'SoftFinish' mean?

SoftFinish refers to the ergonomic handle design, which is designed to be comfortable and reduce strain during use. These handles are recommended by doctors and therapists.

Are these screwdrivers suitable for all electrical work?

While the set is suitable for most common electrical tasks, it's essential to use the correct size and type of screwdriver for each job. Also, this set is rated for up to 1000V AC; do not use it for higher voltage applications.

How often should I test the screwdrivers?

You should visually inspect the screwdrivers before each use. Look for any damage to the insulation. There is no specific time frame for testing, but if you suspect damage, replace the screwdriver.

What should I do if a screwdriver gets wet?

If a screwdriver gets wet, dry it thoroughly before use. If you suspect water has penetrated the insulation, replace the screwdriver.

What is the warranty on these screwdrivers?

The product information does not specify the warranty, please refer to the product documentation or retailer for warranty details.

Troubleshooting

Insulation damage

If the insulation is damaged, immediately remove the screwdriver from use and replace it. Do not attempt to repair damaged insulation.
