Full details

The ATEK Magnetic Screwdrivers Set is designed for DIY enthusiasts, mechanics, and anyone performing household repairs, offering enhanced screw handling and comfortable use. FAQs

Are these screwdrivers insulated?

The product description mentions non-slip, insulated soft handles, but does not specify the level of electrical insulation. They are primarily designed for mechanical tasks and should not be relied upon for electrical work where high levels of insulation are critical.

What types of screws can these screwdrivers handle?

They handle standard Flat Head, Cross Head (Phillips), and Pozidrive screws in various common sizes.

How strong is the magnetic tip?

The magnetic tips are designed to easily line up and hold standard screws, making them ideal for tight spaces. The exact holding strength can vary depending on the size and material of the screw.

Can I use these with a power drill?

No, these screwdrivers are designed for manual use only and are not intended for use with power drills or impact drivers.

What materials are the handles made of?

The handles are made of an ergonomic material with rubberized grips, designed to be soft, non-slip, and comfortable for extended use.

How should I clean the screwdrivers?

Wipe the tips clean after use to remove debris. The handles can be cleaned with a damp cloth and dried thoroughly.

What is included in the set?

The set includes various types and sizes of Flat Head, Cross Head, and Pozidrive screwdrivers suitable for home use.

Troubleshooting

Screwdriver tip not magnetic

Ensure the tip is clean and free of debris. The magnetic force is designed for standard screws; very small or non-ferrous screws may not be held.

Handle feels slippery

Wipe the rubberized handle with a dry cloth. If the handle is wet or greasy, clean it with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

Difficulty driving screws

Verify you are using the correct screwdriver type (e.g., Phillips vs. Pozidrive) and size for the screw head. Ensure the screw itself is not damaged.
