Setting Up Your Watch
- Setting the Time: Pull the crown out to the second position to stop the second hand. Rotate the crown to set the correct time. Push the crown back in to resume timekeeping.
- Using the Chronograph: The top pusher starts and stops the chronograph. The bottom pusher resets the chronograph.
- Setting the Date: If your watch has a date function, pull the crown to the first position and rotate to set the date.
Compatibility
The Timex Marlin Chronograph is compatible with all standard watch straps of the appropriate lug width (20mm). Be sure the watch strap is compatible with the buckle clasp.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch with a soft, damp cloth to remove any dirt or grime. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
- Leather Strap Care: Treat the leather strap with leather conditioner to maintain its suppleness and prevent cracking. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or water.
- Water Resistance: While the watch is water-resistant to 50 meters, avoid exposing it to extreme water pressure or temperature changes. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance.
- Servicing: Have your watch professionally serviced every few years to maintain its accuracy and prolong its lifespan.
