Setup, Compatibility & Care
These wellingtons come ready to wear out of the box and do not require any specific break-in period. To maintain the life of the boots, follow these care steps:
- Cleaning: Wipe off mud and debris with a damp cloth after each use. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents that could damage the rubber.
- Drying: Air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, as excessive heat can cause the rubber to crack over time.
- Interior Care: If the cotton interior becomes damp, stuff the boots with crumpled newspaper to absorb moisture and allow them to dry in a well-ventilated area.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent the material from hardening.
