FAQs
What type of line should I use?
The Must Have Boobies are designed to be used with a sinking line.
How do I choose the right color fly?
Consider water clarity and the prevailing weather conditions. Darker colors are often better in low light, while brighter colors work well in clear water.
What is the best retrieve speed?
It depends on the fish's activity. A fast retrieve works for aggressive fish; a slower retrieve suits pressured fish.
How do I store the flies?
Store the flies in a dry fly box to prevent rust and maintain their shape.
How often should I replace the flies?
Inspect the flies after each use and replace any that show signs of damage.
Can I use these flies in rivers?
These flies are primarily designed for stillwater fishing, but may be used in slow moving rivers.
What is a 'booby' fly?
A booby fly is a type of fly with buoyant eyes that causes it to suspend in the water, often fished on a sinking line.
