Compatibility
- Wearer: Designed specifically for adult women.
- Layering: Compatible with various base and mid-layers, such as thermal tops and fleeces, to enhance warmth in colder conditions without restricting movement.
Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your Dare 2b Striking IV Jacket.
- Remove Faux Fur Trim: Always detach the faux fur trim from the hood before washing the main jacket. The faux fur typically requires gentler care.
- Washing the Jacket: Refer to the care label located inside your jacket for the most accurate instructions. Generally, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild, non-biological detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can impair the fabric's breathability and water-repellent finish.
- Drying the Jacket: Air dry the jacket by hanging it. If using a tumble dryer, select a low heat setting and ensure the jacket is completely dry before storing. Over-drying or high heat can damage the fabric and its finishes.
- Washing the Faux Fur Trim: Hand wash the faux fur trim gently with a mild detergent in cool water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry naturally. Do not put it in a washing machine or tumble dryer, as this can damage the fibers and texture.
- Water-Repellent Re-treatment: Over time, the jacket's water-repellent finish may wear off. If water no longer beads on the surface, consider applying a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) re-treatment spray or wash-in product designed for waterproof breathable fabrics.
